Jiacai Lu is an associate research professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research focuses on the numeric simulation of multiphase flows with the front tracking method. Other research interests include turbulent flows, transport of particles in fluid flows, compressible flows, heat transfer, numerical modeling, and high-performance parallel computing and scientific computation.
