Captain Barrington Irving at the STEM Showcase!

Baltimore City students and families got to meet Captain Barrington irving, the youngest man and first African-American to fly solo around the world.  At 23 years old, Captain Irving flew his custom-built plane, the “Inspiration”, and set the Guinness World record.  He has been awarded the 2012 Emerging Explorer award for his work with the Flying Classroom.
