Stabilization and Interim Community Use of 23 North Smallwood Street

Project Description:

The vacant rowhome at 23 North Smallwood in Southwest Baltimore is an unused space where only the masonry façade remains, posing safety risks and contributing to an underutilized site. The project includes a structural assessment of the existing façade and development of appropriate stabilization techniques, while repurposing the site for temporary community use for our partners the Community Law Center (CLC), a legal aid organization, and Fayette Street Outreach (FSO), a resident-led community group.
