Autonomous Wound Closure Framework

Project Description:

We developed a machine learning model utilizing computer vision via the da Vinci Research Kit to autonomously perform surgical incision closure. In doing so, we focused on improving data collection infrastructure with the dVRK SI to enhanve future imitation learning research in surgical robotics.
