Bioplastic Accessories Made from Potato Starch

Project Description:

For the past two semesters, we have worked hard to develop a bioplastic formulation suitable to mimic that of conventional plastic accessories. For our pilot product, we made biodegradable earrings. Our goal is to make bioplastic accessories that are modern, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable enough to replace plastic accessories used in the fashion industry.
