Project Description:

In collaboration with the Baltimore Ravens, we performed exploratory statistical analysis on a play-by-play NFL data set (some of which came courtesy of PFF) in an attempt to quantify the value of punting and punt return units. We endeavored to answer questions about the predictability of long punt returns, momentum generated by punt returns, and the relative performance of NFL punting units.
