Building community and offering  research, outreach, professional, and social opportunities are among the ways that HUSAM has helped define the AMS undergraduate experience.

HUSAM’s ever-changing array of student-organized programs focus on everything from professional networking, research, and social opportunities and community engagement to exploring the role of applied mathematics in society.

Recent HUSAM events include panel discussions with Johns Hopkins alumni working in data science, finance, and operations research, guest speaker presentations on election modeling, research talks, and Q&As with department faculty members.
