RISE@APL: From Deep learning to “Goosebot” - While an AMS undergrad, Bijan Varjavand ‘19, was a paid summer intern at JHU’s Applied Physics Laboratory through the RISE@APL program. There, he worked on deep learning object detection and built a goose-detecting robot.
