Avanti Athreya is an associate research professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Her work focuses on probability and stochastic processes.
She earned her BS at Iowa State University in 1997; her MS at the University of Washington in 2000; and her PhD at the University of Maryland College Park in 2009.
