ARCH

ARCH is a shared computing facility located on the campus of Johns Hopkins University. The rockfish cluster currently consists of over 34,368 cores.  Most are serial nodes, some are large-memory nodes, and 10 nodes (480 cores) of which are relatively new GPU nodes. A GPFS file system provides a large parallel file system with 100 gbps connectivity. The facility has 100 gbps connectivity to other campuses and facilities at Hopkins via a Science DMZ network and also through the Hopkins Research Network (HoRNET). Systems are connected with FDR-14 Infiniband topology with 56 gbps bandwidth. The Lustre file system provides an aggregate bandwidth of 25 GBps (read) and 20 GBps (write).
