
Sebastian Lech
Sebastian Lech obtained his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. in the field of Materials Science and Engineering at the AGH University of Krakow, Poland in 2021. His primary focus was on electron microscopy and high-temperature materials but has broadened in the recent years to include additive manufacturing and high-throughput material science. Sebastian joined Johns Hopkins University in 2022 starting as a postdoctoral researcher in Mitra Taheri’s Dynamic Characterization Group (DCG). Currently, he is an Assistant Research Scientist combining his efforts in the DCG, as well as overseeing the additive manufacturing laboratories at the MCP, including the directed energy deposition system and ultrasonic atomizer.
