The instrument can do quantitative elemental analysis for various applications. It offers high sensitivity, capable of detecting elements at trace levels down to parts per billion (ppb) concentrations. With a wide dynamic range and the ability to analyze multiple elements simultaneously, the OES, paired with the autosampler, can provide accurate and precise results at a high pace. Some more feature of this instrument are described below:
Sample Injection and Detection System:
A unique combination of optics (polychromator and mirrors) along with precisely tuned sample injection system (seaspray nebulizer, spray chamber, and a quartz torch) allow the sample injection and detection system to deliver fast, simultaneous measurement over the full wavelength range, irrespective concentration or signal strength.
Autosampler:
The autosampler is fully automated to feed samples to the instrument and is capable of handling nearly 200 samples at a time.
Algorithms:
The software features algorithms to streamline method development and troubleshooting:
- Fitted background correction (FBC) automatically provides accurate background correction.
- Spectral interference is addressed using Fast Automated Curve-fitting Technique (FACT) or Inter Element Correction (IEC).
- IntelliQuant quickly identifies elements in a sample and estimates their concentrations, aiding in method development, troubleshooting, and sample screening.
*An SOP will be provided after training.
