Foster at Johns Hopkins University. Our lab is dedicated to the development of next-generation high-performance photonic systems and demonstrating the exciting consequences of their applications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recent News<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prof. Foster is giving a seminar at the University of Rochester, Institute of Optics in November.<\/p>\n<p>Neil MacFarlane is presenting our collaborative research on nonlinear amorphous silicon PUFs at the 2019 IEEE Group IV Photonics Conference in August in Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Foster is giving an invited talk on nonlinear silicon photonic PUFs at the 2019 OSA Nonlinear Optics Conference in July.<\/p>\n<p>We won <a href=\"https:\/\/projectreporter.nih.gov\/project_info_description.cfm?aid=9693482\">a grant from the NIH<\/a> through the <a href=\"https:\/\/braininitiative.nih.gov\/\">BRAIN Initiative<\/a> to develop a fast and wide field-of-view multi-photon microscope for neural recording.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to the homepage of the Ultrafast and Nonlinear Photonics Laboratory directed by Prof. Mark A.
