This body will deliberate plans as they are finalized and review the results of early assessments. This body will be dissolved no sooner than two years after initial implementation of all CUE2 recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Intro and Role&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.25.0&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; saved_tabs=&#8221;all&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>WSE ePortfolio Board<\/h2>\n<p>The WSE ePortfolio Board is comprised of five faculty with two-year terms that rotate among the WSE academic departments and one faculty member from the Center for Leadership Education. This board will articulate and oversee the academic aspects of ePortfolio implementation going forward in perpetuity.[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Intro and Role&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.25.0&#8243; saved_tabs=&#8221;all&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"page_title\">WSE CUE2 Customized Academic Learning Board<\/h2>\n<p>This Board is a representative faculty body charged with overseeing the changes to how we manage research for credit and independent study and, ultimately, the Hopkins Semester. The Board will consider the implementation of policies and practices that ensure that such engagements are substantive and well-assessed. The implementation proposals by the Board will be reviewed by the Directors of Undergraduate Study and the WSE Curriculum Committee. It is charged with fostering the enhancement of the undergraduate curriculum, giving special consideration to interdepartmental programs and general distribution requirements. They review existing and proposed undergraduate programs and bring recommendations of policy to the Homewood Academic Council subcommittee on Academic Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.24.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_button button_url=&#8221;https:\/\/academiccouncil.jhu.edu\/members-committees\/standing-committees\/curriculum-committees\/#:~:text=Whiting%20School%20Of%20Engineering%20Curriculum%20Committee&#8221; url_new_window=&#8221;on&#8221; button_text=&#8221;Curriculum Committee Members&#8221; button_alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Button&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.24.3&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_button][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=&#8221;Joint Administrative Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.24.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; custom_padding=&#8221;||2px|||&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.24.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Intro and Role&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.25.0&#8243; saved_tabs=&#8221;all&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"page_title\">Joint Administrative Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures<\/h2>\n<p>Joint Administrative Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures (JACAPP) is an administrative committee of the Whiting School of Engineering and the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences with responsibilities for harmonizing administrative policies and procedures that support the undergraduate academic endeavors of the full-time programs and students in both KSAS and WSE.<\/p>\n<p>The role of the Committee is to:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"display: block; padding-inline-start: 3em;\">\n<li>Review proposals for revisions to existing academic policies and procedures and proposals for new academic policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Draft proposals regarding academic requirements, to be advanced to the schools\u2019 respective governance bodies, as appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The group\u2019s purview is limited to policies and procedures that apply to undergraduate students in both KSAS and WSE, i.e. Homewood-wide undergraduate academic policies. Policies and procedures that only pertain to the students in one school are handled by each school separately and are not remanded to this committee, nor are academic requirements pertaining to majors and minors. When deemed necessary, this committee may concern itself with policies that pertain to both graduate and undergraduate students from both schools. For such matters the membership of the committee will expand to include the appropriate graduate education deans.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Membership&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.24.2&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; saved_tabs=&#8221;all&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3>Membership<\/h3>\n<p>The membership of the group consists of the Vice Deans for Undergraduate Education of WSE and KSAS and others that they deem appropriate. The Vice Deans may have a designee serve in their stead if they are unable to attend. At meetings where issues pertaining to graduate education are considered, the Vice Deans for Graduate Education of WSE and KSAS or their designees will also be in attendance. Other members and guests are determined by the Vice Deans for Undergraduate Education of WSE and KSAS.<\/p>\n<p>The current standing membership consists of:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>School
