Twenty-five teams from the Greater Baltimore area are invited to JHU\u2019s Tower of Power event to build their towers and compete with undergraduate students, alumni, and faculty teams.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">If your school has questions about participating in the Tower of Power competition email us at <\/span><a href=\"mailto:stemoutreach@jhu.edu\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">stemoutreach@jhu.edu.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline for School Signups<\/strong><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><strong>:<\/strong> <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">11:59PM on February 6, 2026<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 aria-level=\"4\">Specifics<\/h3>\n<p>Schools need to complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=OPSkn-axO0eAP4b4rt8N7IfXDCLTtzNAicfzKj878Y5UMjg2OTRFV1NMRU5PMVBKWTRBSUZWRDg4VS4u\">registration form<\/a> with all relevant information by the deadline of February 6th. <strong>Important Note:<\/strong> A parent\/guardian must accompany each middle school student that will be competing, as well as complete the required forms. Team registrations will be confirmed with the school contact by February 9th.<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Hints: Triangles are rigid. Structures using triangles tend to be strong. Note all the triangular trusses in the picture. Long lengths of spaghetti will bend.
