WISE student named an Intel semifinalist!
For the first time ever, a Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) student has been named an Intel semifinalist. Katherine Paseman worked in Dr. Acharya’s lab in the Center for Bioengineering Innovation and Design (CBID) during the 2013 spring semester. She continued working in the lab during the summer on her own research that overlaps the lab’s work on blood analysis using non-invasive devices. She traveled to India in December 2013 with the CBID hemoglobe team and is currently planning the next phase of her project in conjunction with CBID. More Information
