ECE’s Iglesias to be named IEEE Fellow
Pablo Iglesias, the Edward J. Schaefer Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been named an IEEE Fellow, effective January 1, 2017.
The Society’s highest grade of membership, the grade of Fellow is bestowed upon individuals who have made outstanding contributions to IEEE fields of interest. Iglesias has been recognized for his “contributions to control theory and systems biology”
IEEE consists of more than 400,000 members in 160 countries, and the association’s members are leaders in fields including aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications, biomedical engineering, and electric power and consumer electronics.
