Johns Hopkins University’s chapter of Society of Women Engineers will host an “Introduce a girl to engineering” event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27 in Shriver Hall’s Clipper Room. During the vent, middle school-aged girls from Baltimore City schools will design and build tents suitable for camping with the help and supervision of SWE members. Parents and guardians will join their daughters at noon for a presentation of the designs.
Dean Schlesinger will hold a Town Hall meeting for all WSE PhD students from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6 in the Mason Hall Auditorium. Refreshments will be served in the Mason Hall Colonnade.
At the Town Hall, the dean will provide an update on the school and its major initiatives. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions about these and other topics, and to share their thoughts on the school and where it is headed.

You will be able to see our state-of-the-art BSL2 labs, private offices, co-working spaces, and shared instrument and equipment offerings, including a maker space.
