JHU’s Design Build Fly team is hosting a display in the lobby of Latrobe Hall during National Engineers Week. The display, which will include a model, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, Feb. 22 through 26.
Design, Build, Fly (DBF) is an inter-university competition where students design, fabricate, and demonstrate the flight capabilities of an unmanned, electric powered, radio controlled (RC) airplane. DBF is sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), Raytheon Missile Systems, and Cessna Aircraft.
Dean Schlesinger will hold a Town Hall meeting for all WSE undergraduates from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1 in the Great Hall in Levering. Refreshments will be served.
At the Town Hall, the dean will provide an update on the school and its major initiatives and priorities and students will have the opportunity to ask questions about these and other topics and to share their thoughts on the school and where it is headed.
