TechTalk: Domain-Specific Language (DSLs) and Code Generation
Jun 28 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Johns Hopkins Engineering instructor Scott Stanchfield presents “Domain-Specific Language (DSLs) and Code Generation” for the next lecture in the TechTalk series.

Stanchfield will discuss how to write little languages that can simplify representations and feel more natural to domain experts (or more concise for your own usage), and how to use those languages to generate metric tons of code. For example, he’ll address creating a small language that can be used by a non-programmer to represent data for a simple text adventure game, and using xText to create grammars, code generators, and editors.

You do not need to pre-register for this event. If you are joining remotely, please visit on June 28 at 6:30 p.m. EDT. For those joining in person, there will be pizza and refreshments available starting at 5:30 p.m. EDT.
