I can&#8217;t decide whether my favorite MatSci memory was our class-wide running joke about building a real-life Iron Man suit, or getting a chance to work with the Hopkins Archaeological Society analyzing an ancient Mixtec mosaic for <a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/materials\/faculty\/patricia-mcguiggan\/\">Dr. McGuiggan&#8217;s<\/a> Materials Characterization class.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div id=\"attachment_6775\" style=\"width: 270px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.paigeboehmcke.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6775\" class=\"wp-image-6775 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/materials\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Paige-260x300.jpg\" alt=\"Paige Boehmcke\" width=\"260\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-6775\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Paige Boehmcke, BS 2013<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.paigeboehmcke.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paige Boehmcke<\/a> transferred to Johns Hopkins University from the University of Alabama after her sophomore year. After graduating with a BS in Materials Science in 2013, she joined <a href=\"http:\/\/ventureforamerica.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Venture for America<\/a>, a two-year fellowship that places recent college graduates at startups in cities with emerging startup communities.<\/p>\n<p>She is currently a Product Development Associate for <a href=\"http:\/\/vorbeck.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vorbeck Materials<\/a> in Jessup, MD. Paige is responsible for designing and prototyping printed electronics for wearable applications.
