In the picture I am the player in red. I am on defense and laying out past the offensive player to force a turnover. Ultimate has been one of my passions ever since being introduced to the sport in middle school. I started playing competitively in high school and while studying physics at Carleton College I won two collegiate national championships with the Carleton Ultimate Team (CUT). In the summer of 2011, just before moving to Baltimore, I went to Israel to teach ultimate to Israeli and Palestinian children as part of an organization called Ultimate Peace. Upon arriving in Baltimore I started played with a club team named Medicine Men as well as the team here at Johns Hopkins.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Alex Kinsey is a Ph.D student in Professor Tim Weihs\u2019 Lab.
