In the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, our students are constantly pushing the boundaries forward in their quest to solve real world problems. For this year\u2019s Design Day, we have 10 teams presenting projects that range from preventative anti-bacterial spray for surgical procedures to an improved closed and continuous bone marrow aspiration system. The goal of the faculty of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering is to help the students find new ways to improve materials that will improve society.<\/p>\n\n
