\nOn a beautiful spring day on the Homewood campus, Johns Hopkins University leadership and guests gathered in front of Croft Hall to pay tribute to the generosity and philanthropy of L. Gordon Croft \u201956.<\/p>\n

Croft has provided remarkable support of the school through the years, including endowed junior professorships, a named lecture series, student fellowships and scholarships, and a recent gift to advance interdisciplinary research.<\/p>\n

In recognition of his lifetime of dedication, the New Engineering Building was named Croft Hall. Croft, from Port Tobacco, Md., graduated with a degree in industrial engineering. He went on to a successful career at T. Rowe Price and then founded the investment management firm Croft-Leominster, Inc.<\/p>\n
