The master of science in engineering managemnt, a 12 to 18 month program aimed at students with zero to five years’ work experience, requires five technical courses selected from any one of fifteen (15) concentrations and the equivalent of five management courses across a variety of disciplines. With approximately 30 to 40 admitted to the cohort group, the program is intentionally small to encourage a learning environment where students closely interact with their classmates and faculty to apply learned skills in multiple complex team based projects.
The part-time master of engineering management degree, a 3 to 5 year program, is aimed at working professionals taught by working professionals. Five technical management courses are required and five electives can be chosen from fourteen (14) concentrations. The program offers graduate-level work in specific engineering or management disciplines, giving students a unique opportunity to mix their chosen concentration with engineering management perspectives using a distance learning environment.
