The BS degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering are accredited by the <\/span>Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET <\/a>under the General Criteria and the Program Criteria for Electrical, Computer Communications, Telecommunication(s) and similarly Named Programs. <\/span>As part of the ABET requirements, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has established the objectives and outcomes that are referenced below. ECE PEOs<\/h2>\n

The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) for electrical and computer engineering at the Johns Hopkins University describe what ECE graduates are expected to attain within a few years of graduation. The PEOs are determined in consultation with the Electrical and Computer Engineering External Advisory Committee and approved by the ECE faculty.<\/p>\n
