Shao-Yuan Lo, a former student of Vishal Patel, associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been awarded the prestigious\u00a0Yushan Young Fellowship<\/span>\u00a0from Taiwan\u2019s Ministry of Education\u2014the highest honor for newly appointed young professors in Taiwan. The fellowship is granted to early-career scholars who demonstrate exceptional research achievements and leadership potential in their fields.<\/p>\n

Lo\u2019s research focuses on trustworthy artificial intelligence, machine learning, and multimodal models, with applications ranging from computer vision and social intelligence. He continues to collaborate with researchers worldwide to advance these areas.<\/p>\n
