Kouwenhoven Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Whiting School of Engineering and a core faculty member of the Johns Hopkins Data Science and AI Institute (DSAI), has received a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ai.jhu.edu\/news\/2025-demonstration-projects-award-recipients\/\"><span>2025 DSAI Demonstration Projects Award<\/span><\/a><span>\u00a0for his project,<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>\u201cUnique White Matter Lesion Tracking Algorithm as a Community Resource for Neurological Disorders.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span>Developed in collaboration with Johns Hopkins neurology faculty, the project will deliver an AI-powered resource to support clinicians and researchers working on neurological disorders.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span>DSAI\u2019s Demonstration Projects program supports long-term, high-impact efforts that translate scientific innovation into practical solutions. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span>\u201cThis program exemplifies our strong commitment to accelerating the integration of data science and AI tools into essential applications,\u201d said Natalia Trayanova, director of health and medicine at DSAI and Murray B.
