This year, the university selected 44 projects across 11 units for awards, focusing on challenges in health care, artificial intelligence, and climate change.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/ece\/faculty\/mahyar-fazlyab\/\">Mahyar Fazlyab<\/a>, assistant professor; <a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/ece\/faculty\/uzi-yury-dvorkin\/\">Yuri Dvorkin<\/a>, associate professor; <a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/ece\/faculty\/enrique-mallada\/\">Enrique Mallada<\/a>, associate professor; and <a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/ece\/faculty\/vishal-patel\/\">Vishal Patel<\/a>, associate professor, will team up with colleagues in other divisions on the projects below.
