Muyinatu Bell<\/a>, an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with a joint appointment in biomedical engineering, has been chosen by the National Science Foundation for its prestigious Early CAREER Award, which recognizes early-stage scholars with high levels of promise and excellence.<\/p>\n

Bell\u2019s research focuses on significantly improving photoacoustic imaging by developing tools that will unconventionally separate light from acoustic receivers and deliver it directly to the surgical site.
