The IEEE Fellow is awarded based on a person&#8217;s outstanding record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest.<\/p>\n<p>The IEEE professional association consists of over 400,000 members in 160 countries. The association&#8217;s members are leaders in a variety of fields, including aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications, biomedical engineering, and electric power and consumer electronics. The IEEE publishes 30% of the world&#8217;s literature in electrical and electronic engineering.
