Dr. Jacob Khurgin awarded DARPA grant for “Monolithic THz and LWIR QCL frequency combs for threat detection and identification”

March 18, 2015

Dr. Jacob Khurgin will perform theoretical analysis of experimental results obtained in the project, leading to better understanding of QCL comb operation and ultimately QCL combs with better performance. We will also perform theoretical analysis of dual-comb spectroscopy to maximize the sensitivity, the chemical selectivity, and the number of simultaneously detectable chemical species.
