Vikram Chib<\/a>, an associate professor of biomedical engineering, works to understand how the human brain processes internal and external rewards, and how these signals motivate behavior. His research interests include decision making; rewards, incentivized performance; motivated behavior; neuroeconomics; and incentive mechanisms.<\/p>\n

Chib received his BS in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh and his MS and PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University. He completed his postdoctoral scholarship at the California Institute of Technology, and well as a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science postdoctoral fellowship at Advanced Telecommunications Research in Kyoto.<\/p>\n
