He received the Johns Hopkins University Teaching as Research fellowship in 2020.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:true,&quot;134233118&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:150,&quot;335559739&quot;:150,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Moro-Velazquez received the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness mobility grant in 2017 and serves as a reviewer of a variety of publications, including IEEE\u2019s ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing; Journal of Selected Topics in Signal Processing; and Transactions on Neural Systems &amp; Rehabilitation Engineering.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:true,&quot;134233118&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559738&quot;:150,&quot;335559739&quot;:150,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Previously, Moro-Velazquez was a post-doctoral fellow at CLSP and was mentored by\u202f<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clsp.jhu.edu\/faculty\/najim-dehak\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Najim Dehak<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">, associate professor in the\u202f<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/ece\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">. Moro-Velazquez received both his PhD with honors (cum laude) in Systems and Services Engineering for the Information Society (2018) and his\u00a0Master Degree\u00a0in Telecommunications Engineering (2006) at Universidad\u00a0Polit\u00e9cnica\u00a0de Madrid. He earned his undergraduate degree in Sound and Image Engineering (2003) at Technical University of Madrid.
