{"id":6553,"date":"2026-05-06T09:25:06","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T13:25:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/doctor-of-engineering\/?page_id=6553"},"modified":"2026-05-06T09:25:24","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T13:25:24","slug":"integrated-ms-deng-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/doctor-of-engineering\/about-the-program\/integrated-ms-deng-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Integrated MS\/DEng Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span style=\"font-size: 24pt;\">Program Overview<\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">This program permits EP students to begin a Doctor of Engineering degree before completing their <a href=\"https:\/\/ep.jhu.edu\">Engineering for Professionals<\/a> master&#8217;s degree.\u00a0 A central feature of the integrated program is that students may intentionally align their EP-master\u2019s coursework with their DEng program of study.<\/p>\n<h2 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><span style=\"font-size: 24pt;\">Admissions and Enrollment<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Under this new option, EP students can <a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/doctor-of-engineering\/admissions\/\">apply for full admission<\/a> to the Doctor of Engineering program after completing five or more courses in their EP master\u2019s degree program. \u00a0Once admitted, the student\u2019s primary program switches to the Doctor of Engineering at the next available transition point to the DEng program (either the summer or spring term).
