Mary Clare Coghlan is a senior lecturer at Johns Hopkins\u2019 Center for Leadership Education in the Whiting School of Engineering.\u00a0 She is a 2005 graduate of Towson University where she studied Biology. As team captain, she guided the Women\u2019s Volleyball Team to the Colonial Athletic\u00a0 Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament. After playing professional volleyball in Europe, she was commissioned as a Naval Officer to recruit and mentor Division I volleyball players and future Naval and Marine Corps leaders at The United States Naval Academy.\u00a0\u00a0 She spent 7 years at Northwestern Mutual in selection, onboarding and development of financial professionals. Her M.A in Organizational Leadership is from Gonzaga University.\u00a0 Coghlan combines her journey of athletics, education, military and business to help Hopkins\u2019 students create their best selves for current and future teams. She is the faculty advisor for Omicron Delta Kappa and Hopkins Student Veterans Association.
