Beyond the opportunities offered by the Clark Scholars Program at Johns Hopkins University, scholars also join a broader network of Clark Scholars across 11 partner institutions and the Clark Scholars Program Network. A. James Clark Scholar Curriculum Requirements:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Johns Hopkins University A. James Clark Scholar Program incorporates a required curriculum that parallels the mission of the foundation and aligns with the students\u2019 interest. Additionally, these courses can be used to fulfill requirements for either the W.P. Carey Entrepreneurship & Management minor or the Leadership Studies minor.<\/p>\n

Clark Scholars are required to enroll in the following Clark Scholars specific courses during their time at Hopkins:<\/p>\n

          A. James Clark Scholar Extracurricular Engagement:<\/b><\/h4>\n

          The A. James Clark Scholars also engage in a variety of activities around the campus and within the local community, including:<\/p>\n

          • Cultural passport, including trips to local attractions within the Mid-Atlantic region.<\/li>\n
          • Intersession travel and alternative break opportunities (domestic and international) focused on exploring social entrepreneurship and innovation while building cultural competency.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Innovation and Entrepreneurship endeavors<\/li>\n
          • Team building activities<\/li>\n
          • Visiting speakers and lecturers<\/li>\n
          • Annual Clark Scholars Summit trip (location varies per year)<\/li>\n
          • Career Mixer (CLE Connect) with the Center for Leadership Education<\/li>\n
          • Thanksgiving Potluck<\/li>\n
