He is a core faculty member of the Institute for NanoBioTechnology and the Center for Microphysiological Systems. His research brings together tissue and biomaterials engineering, multi-omics, and molecular biology to better understand and treat fibrosis\u2014a major driver of pathology and aging of nearly all of our solid organs. His lab is particularly interested in the development of new precision therapies against fibrosis-associated conditions, including cardiovascular disease and cancer.<\/p>\n<p>Cho earned his BS in Chemical &amp; Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and his PhD in Chemical &amp; Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Dennis Discher, PhD. He completed postdoctoral training with Joseph Wu, MD, PhD, at Stanford University School of Medicine.
