Funded by the Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association, the award recognized Zerin\u2019s extraordinary dedication to the University\u2019s teaching mission, exceptional performance in the classroom, and a continuing commitment to tomorrow\u2019s leaders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTeaching is about creating an environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to think critically,\u201d says Zerin. \u201cI\u2019m honored to be recognized and grateful for the opportunity to work with such motivated and curious students.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vincent received the George M.L. Sommerman Engineering Graduate Teaching Assistant Award, and Nath was awarded the Whiting School of Engineering Teaching Assistant Excellence Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions as teaching assistants.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association and the Whiting School of Engineering honor faculty, staff, and graduate teaching assistants who demonstrate exceptional commitment to teaching, advising, and mentoring.
