Somnath Ghosh<\/a>, the Michael G. Callas Chair Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, who will receive the 2019 Ted Belytschko Applied Mechanics Award from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).<\/p>\n

The Ted Belytschko Applied Mechanics Award is given to an outstanding individual for significant contributions in the practice of engineering mechanics. Ghosh will be officially recognized at ASME\u2019s International Mechanical Engineering Conference and Exposition in Salt Lake City in mid-November 2019.<\/p>\n
