Alden Green is an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics and a member of the Johns Hopkins Data Science and AI Institute (DSAI). He works on problems related to high-dimensional regression, dimensionality reduction, graph-based nonparametric estimation and hypothesis testing, and selective inference. Green was previously a Stein Fellow at Stanford University and earned his PhD in statistics from Carnegie Mellon University, where his thesis received the Umesh K. Gavaskar Memorial Thesis Award.
