Kenan, Jr. Scholar\/Teacher.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The\u202f<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/engineering.jhu.edu\/faculty-staff\/kenan-fund\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">William R. Kenan, Jr. Fund<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u202fwas established to stimulate the adoption of sound innovative teaching methods, particularly in undergraduate education. The Whiting School has re-envisioned this program to help teaching and tenure-track faculty members pursue research in engineering education. Faculty members interested in the fund were invited to submit proposals for projects that would provide long-term benefits to the quality and effectiveness of undergraduate teaching.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Kushanarev\u2019s winning proposal outlines a project titled <\/span><span>\u201c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">AI-Supported Formative Assessment for Improved, Self-Regulated Learning in Engineering Statistics Courses<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span>\u201d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> The initiative will develop an AI-driven system that provides students with real-time, individualized feedback and generative AI-guided scaffolding.
