Nicolas Charon is an assistant professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics and serves as the department’s Diversity Champion. His research focuses on shape analysis, image analysis, Riemannian and discrete geometry, and medical imaging and computational anatomy. He is a member of the Center for Imaging Science. He earned his doctorate (2013), master’s (2008), and bachelor’s (2007) degrees at ENS Cachan near Paris.
