Engineers Without Borders

The Whiting School of Engineering seeks to:

  • Enhance WSE international presence and broadening opportunities that serve our students and faculty well.​
  • Enhance research and academic reputation and global visibility of WSE.​
  • Enhance intellectual stimulation, creativity, and student diversity.​
  • Develop and promote international programs that positively impact critical global issues.​
  • Enhance international experience, discovery, and intercultural competencies for WSE undergraduate students.​

To this end, the Whiting School of Engineering has numerous active academic partnerships with peer institutions abroad that enhance collaborative research and education. These include faculty-initiated international research collaborations in engineering and science and academic programs that enhance students’ international experiences and prepares them for careers in a global environment.
