  1. The new User requests access and training requests through the MCP website, which connects him\/her to the appropriate Lab manager.<\/li>\n
  2. The prospective User completes the required JHU Lab safety training (online) – if not previously completed.<\/li>\n
  3. Using his\/her iLab account, the User requests authorization from his\/her Lab PI to access a Lab group and be added to the appropriate cost object.<\/li>\n
  4. The User submits an access request to the MCP core in iLab \u2013 which may require contacting the Safety Officer.<\/li>\n
  5. Once granted access to the MCP core, the prospective User can begin booking training sessions in iLab.<\/li>\n
  6. The User needs to satisfactorily complete an instrument training session, before the Lab manager can grant him\/her the appropriate permission to use the instrument.<\/li>\n
  7. User can then schedule an experimental session (in iLab) to carry out his\/her experiment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
