We are still putting together the panel of judges...but so far, we have:
Paula Burger: The vice provost for academic affairs and dean of undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins is responsible for overseeing university-wide initiatives that enhance the quality of the undergraduate experience (like this video competition!).
Richard Chisolm: Emmy Award-winning director of photography for the ABC prime-time series Hopkins 24/7 also has credits that include 11 National Geographic specials, one for which he received a National Cinematography Emmy Award.
Sal Gentile: is the editor in chief of The Johns Hopkins News-Letter, the University's independent student newspaper since 1896. He is a senior philosophy and writing seminars major from Holmdel, NJ.
Kristina Johnson: Johns Hopkins new provost and senior vice president of academic affairs is also an electrical engineer with 40 patents and co-founder of several start-up companies.
John Latting: The director of undergraduate admissions at Johns Hopkins will appreciate the creativity and innovation of the videos submitted, saying that, "Talent is dispersed across all different types of people who have different cultures and backgrounds. Different perspectives make a good incubator for innovative thinking."
"What's great about Hopkins Engineering is that you can do real computer science work as an undergraduate--things that are both inventive and fun."
