Orla Wilson Wins Excellence in Teaching Award
Dr. Orla Wilson has been selected as this year’s winner of the Robert B. Pond, Sr. Excellence in Teaching Award for outstanding undergraduate teaching. The award will be presented to Dr. Wilson at the annual Whiting School of Engineering Convocation Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 5, 2014.
Dr. Wilson joined the Department of Materials Science and Engineering in 2008. Her commitment to education is exemplified by her valued role as a lecturer and mentor to undergraduates and through her service as a senior instructor for the Engineering Innovation program.
